Deborah Hart Yemm, is a naturalist living in rural wilderness in Madison County, Missouri. She occasionally shares experiences with readers about what living a remote, rural existence is like. Her love of wild places began as a child wandering the Navajo Mescalero Apache indian reservation at Ruidosa, NM, where her family often camped. She fell in love with trees at age 3, though born in the desert southwest, when her paternal grandparents took her to the Ruidosa area. So, it is no surprise that she has made her home in forested Missouri wilderness, since marrying her husband in 1988. Deborah has three children and two grandchildren. She practices a natural spirituality of being present to her Life and its experiences.
